Echocardiography beds designed by sonographers & echocardiographers for efficient performance of supine bike stress echocardiography and post treadmill stress tests (exercise echocardiograms). Each echo bed is designed according to your specifications. Cardiology labs and hospitals performing stress echo will find our beds to be extremely stable and adaptable. Supine bike stress echo has been shown to be superior to post treadmill stress testing for the detection of coronary artery disease.
Redbud Medical Systems, Inc. manufactures custom-made beds for supine bike stress echocardiography, post treadmill imaging stress testing and for conventional resting echocardiography. Because these echo beds are custom made, the cardiologist may specify modifications to fit the specific needs of his/her practice and stress testing protocols. Accurate assessment of coronary artery disease through ultrasound imaging during stress echo demands that every effort be made to increase endocardial resolution. Redbud has designed a bed that contributes to that goal by providing a means of exercise with a high rate/pressure product and yet holds the patient in a steady, secure position that allows quick and accurate ultrasound imaging during peak exercise. Our echocardiography beds were designed by cardiologists and the cardiac sonographers who perform stress echocardiography on a daily basis.
