Factors to consider when purchasing an echocardiography bed

Model 400 Echocardiography Bed
For Resting Echo Exams & Post Treadmill Stress Echo Exams

Our budget model has no ergometer, casters, headboard, or head elevation feature. The Bundle Block patient support cushion (shown) is an option. (For a greater selection of features, see our Model 500.)

Beds are individually constructed for each client according to specifications.
Dimensions (approximate): 31" high, 27" wide, 78" long. Dimensions can be changed (within reason) to meet your requirements.
Heavy wood frame with solid oak legs.
Imaging access (mattress cutout) to enable access to apical views when patient is in left lateral decubitus. Its unique design is more comfortable for patient and sonographer.
Upper surfaces finished in durable, washable laminate (color: ivory).
Mattress: 3" fire retardant foam provides stability and comfort for patient.
Mattress cover: attractive and functional light gray that is wear, stain and bacterial resistant meeting all hospital flammability requirements.
Paper roll sheet holder - quick and easy.
Shipped in a heavy plywood create, fully assembled and ready to use.

These optional features can be ordered with the Model 400:

Bundle Block patient support.
Storage shelf mounted at the lower edge and extending the length of the bed (see photo below).

Sonographer armrest to reduce fatigue and strain on the sonographer's arm, shoulder and neck. (see photos above and below.)

Safety belt to secure patient.
Manually controlled hydraulic bed elevation - retracted height 26", extended height 32", width 27" (Weight limit: 350 pounds).
